Would be extremely interesting to hear how they handle him. It’s very interesting how the way he’s perceived and taught about in Britain is wildly different to to the Irish perspective.
Anytime I’ve ever listened to a podcast on him he is discussed in both a positive and negative light. The Irish in me is always a little pissed off that the Irish side of things gets relatively short shrift. I’m sure he was a bastard but I wish there were more emphasis on the Irish side.
Excellent podcast! Hopefully they cover him!
Hopefully they get a good quality of guest. The show has fallen off a bit since going to more current stuff and with a poorer quality of guests… and my fucking god the clown he had on for the Magdelene Laundries
Still class when it’s on form though. It ended weirdly and abruptly, but the Vince Mcmahon series was fucking class as someone who was a kid growing up with Stone Cold, The Rock, etc.
