  1. Yet another reason to be deeply ashamed to live in Hungary 🙁

  2. Why not go with e-books if physical copies have become harder to circulate?

  3. When are we gonna finaly take us self together, and throw them right out of the EU and NATO.. They seem to be so far apart from nearly all other member states values, other than maybe Poland to some scope.

  4. Isnt it normal for an bookstore to seal their copies of every book? Or is this just an german thing?

  5. Kind of perverse that the Corvinus library revered in parts to the point it was even mentioned on star trek discovery is now being used an excommunist British Hungarian dude to spread hate.

  6. Most educated young people are leaving for Western Europe, USA or Canada. Majority that remain are old people who share the government’s views and some less educated young people with less marketable skills and less critical thinking that will easily believe the government. I feel scared for that country.

  7. Putting condoms on gay books? Will this help to stop the spread of gay to the other books?

  8. The article is pretty vague. Other adult rated books are wrapped in foil too, or only the gay stuff?

  9. For reference these are not books with ‘adult content’, these are books that may have LGBT characters or mention of such people.

Percy Jackson books and the last Fantastic Beasts book are good examples for what kind of literature is targeted.

  10. Do Hungarians actually believe this shit? Maybe they should create a Serbian/Hungarian unpire

  11. we should all donate to fund a good therapist for the hungarian government, they really need it.

  12. It’s an absolute embarrassment that the eu is allowing this without severe punishment or even expulsion. You can’t benefit from the eu and disregard the rules. If your not gonna follow them then don’t join.
