The European sky shield initiative mainly aims at strengthening European air defence capabilities, and owing to its location and lack of any air defence, Malta might benefit from participating. The argument of neutrality would have always ruled this out, however seeing as Switzerland and Austria have also joined, this might not present such big issues. What do you think?

This is a terrible idea and will only contribute to further escalation and needlessly antagonise other nations.
The only reason why the Ukraine situation occurred is because of weak US leadership from Obama and Biden at the behest of the military industrial complex.
test malta in nukemap and you’ll see why that’s a shit idea
No because Malta is constitutionally neutral
No. We are a neutral country.
Is Luqa ready?
Yes neutral doesnt mean no defence, neutral means that the air space is neutral to anyone not doing harm to the island. So yes, we should.
Idk if Malta really needs to spend money on defense. No country wants to invade us, and let’s hope it stays that way. The US spends a fuck ton of money on defense and has conscription, yet people there face student debt while we get stipends.
Im all for close cooperation with neighbours, and I understand that Russia is a terrorist state that is bombing innocent Ukrainian cities and killing civilians. But I don’t think we really need more defense, at least not now. And let’s hope we don’t need more defense.
