Germany plans a lockdown light from the 28th December. This includes contact restrictions even for the vaccinated, as well as closures of clubs and discos.

    I am happy to comply but I am done at some point if the consequences are the same and make the unvaccinated say: “See? No use for vaccinations.”

  5. As much as I support vaccination, I can’t deny feeling massively disappointed to see that it hasn’t done all that much to fix this mess we’re in. Honestly, it starts to feel like the old days are gone and we’ll have to live like this forever.

  7. God I am so glad I am moving back to the US in a couple of months. Can’t stand this shit show anymore. I didn’t escape a commie country just to return to the same thing 30 years later.

  9. So churches stay open for the “quiet days”, but as soon as non religious life could slowly take place, everyone gets locked up again.

  13. two days ago I was joking with a friend that now that cases are falling in Germany they need to implement a lockdown otherwise they won’t be able to claim that it stopped transmission.

    2. Everyone goes on shopping spree to avoid the lockdown
    3. Infections shoot up because mass of people doing the shopping was spreading the virus
    4. We now have to go on full lockdown
    5. Blame the unvaccinated for the situation.

  19. At this point it becomes civic duty to disobey. This whole COVID debacle is an unholy alliance of the government and the media.

    For the media Covid is a goldmine, free stories and clicks for years. They will do everything in their power to maintain the panic and fear.

    For the goverment it is a perfect opportunity to tighten the grip on the society without as much as a peep, moreover some will hand over their basic rights and clap at the same time as we can see on Reddit.
