Is Warsaw the safest major\* capital in Europe?
\*big means excluding places like Valleta, San Marino or Riga, **because who cares about Riga**?
[In this video about Stockholm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqb2HRyFZSo&t=9s&ab_channel=TheExpatriateConsultancy) there are some crime statistics that compare some European capitals and it’s amazing how Warsaw is so much better than the rest.
I wrote down some of the numbers mentioned.
***Ironically, before I moved to Poland, a Frenchman told me that I should be careful because here is full of racists and drunks… Well well well, look how the turntables.***

Warsaw is indeed pretty safe, as is Poland, but keep in mind that especially with sexual and assault charges, the definitions vary between legal systems, so some events may “count” in one country and not be a crime or qualify as a different one just over the border
Poor Swedish women…
Btw does this x per 100k mean per month or a year?
