Hi,

I am an adult citizen from an Asian country and I have applied to do unpaid volunteer at the BWF Badminton World Championships in Denmark in August.

The event last for about 10 days.

My passport allows me to visit Denmark without a visa for a maximum 90 days in one visit.

I would like to ask, do I need a visa for unpaid volunteering purposes in this case? I looked up on SIRI : [https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/Words%20and%20Concepts%20Front%20Page/SIRI/Unpaid%20job](https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/Words%20and%20Concepts%20Front%20Page/SIRI/Unpaid%20job) , it does not look like I require a visa for the length of time I am volunteering but I am not totally confident.

I contacted the event organizer but they seem to be unsure. I contacted SIRI few weeks ago but had no response. Any related information was not shown on the volunteer website that I signed up to.

Would anyone have any information regarding this?

Thank you. Your advice is much appreciated.

Regards,
