What do modern Poles think of Konstantin Rokossovsky (Konstanty Rokossowski)? I understand animosity considering his role in crushing the Polish uprisings against the communist regime in 1956 and in establishing force labor camps, but his status as one of the top generals in the Red Army is also something to be behold. Would love to hear Polish people’s thoughts

Nothing. This person simply vanished from Polish history.
And do you know who “cancelled” him? It was… the communists! Yes, Polish communists hated him enough to make him choose the exile in USSR.
Just polish born traitor, he chose Red Army and revolutionary Russia over Poland back in 1918 and proved his choice later on. Absolute no respect for him whatsoever.
I knew his sisiter in law. Her husband hated the traitor and severed all contacts with him.
