The use of also ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ cluster munitions against the ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ defense lines in occupied ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ is certainly justified. These areas are very extensively mined, and demining after the war will anyhow be a major challenge.

  1. Removing the millions of mines will be a much bigger concern than removing a few unexploded bomblets

  2. Great observation – typical liberal press response of, โ€œoh what about unexploded ordinance when the Russians have polluted Ukraine with millions of minesโ€œ – the rebuild of Ukraine will need to accommodate this.

  3. Karma is a bitch.

Nothing wrong with genocidal maniacs on other nation’s soil getting cluster munitioned.

  4. Certainly ukr military use of US cluster munitions justified. Otherwise, what is being said is: IF Ukrainians survive russian rocket, missile and artillery strikes, rape and/or execution by russ forces (ex., Bucha), utter destruction (Mariupol, Bakhmut), flooding and cholera (Khakhova dam), kidnapping and deportation, starvation (due to russian forces burning farmland, fields, grain theft), russian mines, cluster bombs and thermobaric weapons . . . someone may be hurt many years from now by unexploded Ukr ordnance. Which seems like a very disingenuous and insincere concern.

  5. To even think Ukrainian hero soldiers, the ones who wait for wildlife to clear before bombing would misuse any ammunition is silly.

  6. Another element that is forgotten strangely is that Ukraine acquired Turkish cluster munitions it was shown some months ago it was a secret ofc but in one the photos there it was, ppl seem to go to this kinda moral procrastination about this forgetting that they are fighting an enemy that is both stupid and evil to a degree not seen since the Middle Ages that still has a ridiculous superior number of meat shields and these bullets due to its level of destruction against such masses helps save the rest of the more normal ammunition, that there will be consequences later on in the land itโ€™s a given unfortunately but that is a consideration that Ukraine accepts its a choice made by them not us itโ€™s their agency not ours that matters here
