I’ve spoken about this with my wife before, and we even briefly mentioned it last night, if I lived in England and my kids tried to support England rugby/football etc, I would have to disown them
I could probably get over the accent, purely because I could bully them for speaking like a tit, but I’d have The Wind That Shakes The Barley on repeat throughout their childhood to prevent them getting notions.
I also feel the same way if we had kids in Dublin, where we live now. You will not support Leinster. You will support Ulster and be constantly disappointed, like me.
Not sure which is worse, posh English accents or South Dublin DORT accents
Posh? Might they have developed street urchin accents, or did Cillian Murphy make sure to live in a posh accent area of London?
ie what a fecking snob
Wait till they start watching too much Bluey and then they develop an odd accent
He’s gonna regret that if they get that horrid cork accent where every statement sounds like a question.
Rumour has it it was more to do trying to salvage his marriage after his alleged affair with Sienna Miller. But who knows.
This is probably one of those cases where he said that in a jokey way in some interview and it was taken out of context and so on. No wonder the man hates all that shite
Could be worse. They could live in d4 and say gordi and or tee yee
