I’m at limerick station currently and all trains have been suspended. Hopefully the passengers and driver on that line are doing okay.
I was about to book train ticket on Cork line couple of mins ago. Says on CIE website, a “Tragic accident” , so must be pretty serious impact. I’ve not seen anything on news.

“Major disruption to services. The line between Ballybrophy and Portlaoise is closed until further notice. Emergency services are attending to an incident on the line Trains will terminate in Ballybrophy Portlaoise to Heuston Commuter services will operate. Update to follow.”

Sadly on news update, it was a fatal incident on the train track.
