These guys are cool. They don’t bother you, certainly don’t bite, and help clean up pests.
Oh they’re harmless, I used to grab these all the time to put em on top of wardrobes and cabinets so I wouldn’t step on em
They often come in pairs.

Where’s the banana for scale?
I quickly googled it and this came to my interest:

Lichaamslengte: ♀ 10 – 19mm, ♂ 10 – 13mm.”
Looks way bigger on your photo and 10 – 19 mm doesn’t make me think of a medium to very large spider.

Had one next to my bed last week. The Guy was as big as my stopcontact. Normally not afraid of spiders but seeing this guy( went to the bedroom in the dark, only using flash light and saw the reflection of its eyes) made me jump a little…

How big is it, legs and all?
I like my spiderbros. They kill off buzzing pests and have 8 legs.

yea, i love what spiders do (eat insects and feed birds) but those spiders i find a bit too big for comfort.

I found a hobo spider in my house. I didn’t know they were in Belgium.
zag een grote spin gisteren boven op de slaapkamer, heb hem beneden gebracht in de garage, volgende dag zat hij weer boven, heb hem dan maar buiten gezet, was ook zoiets als dit. Ach spinnen in belgie doen niks , een hooiwagen laat ik zelfs maar zoiets wil ik toch niet rond mijn bed
