Ukrainian Defenders adopted a crow. They named him Mavic and make sure that he is healthy and happy. Mavic also has a mischievous side, so they keep the grenades hidden!

3. Ukrainian soldiers have the ability to make friends with animals where ever they go. Russia just steals and murders what ever they can find. Never forget how Russia stole from zoo animals from Kherson zoo and a raccoon they found while fleeing.

4. Ukraine being in Eastern Europe, does anybody know how come it’s a Carrion crow and not a [Hooded crow](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooded_crow)?

   I sent an e-mail to [Birds of Ukraine](https://uabirds.org) asking that question but got no reply.

5. I think that’s actually a raven, judging by its size and the sound it makes. They’re quite identical to crows, tho
