This little media narrative of “will he/won’t he go to the NATO meeting” already feels old. It’s been discussed to death on CNN, BBC, Twitter…
It doesn’t matter. NATO already knows what he is going to do, it’s not like there will be an empty chair waiting in case he should stroll in unexpectedly. Travel and security arrangements would have to be coordinated well in advance.
The whole thing feels like a media circus if anything.
Of course Zelenskyy is going to Vilnius! Zelenskyy is the man of the year, hero of Ukraine! From the moment he uttered: “I don’t need a ride ….” the Ukrainian spirit soared showed the world who they were: brave hero freedom fighters.
I’m hoping security guarantees, all the materiel needed to end the war by end of 2023, and an invite to NATO in 2024 after terrorist war criminal ruzzia is thoroughly defeated.
