Hi! I am a currency collector & was wondering if anyone on this Reddit is old enough to remember if this 200 Deutsche Mark from 1989 or the updated one with the hologram from 1996 was in use at the change to Euro in 2002? Thank you in advance for any info!

I would guess both were still in use. But the older one wasn’t printed anymore…

Yeah, remember as well the older as well the newer version.
Unfortunately none of the two were in regular use for me as a high schooler (was rather in the 20DM area or even coins when looking into my wallet).
