Hey guys!
As you can see, my passport has been held for processing in one of your diplomatic missions for more than 7 months without any heads up.
I’ve signed an employment contract with a Belgian company and recieved the documents granting me residency and employment permit. Then I delivered them along with my passport to the consulate and never heard anything since then.
I have absolutely noone to talk to, noone picks up the phone and I haven’t recieved amy notice regarding the situation. My employer in Belgium tells me to wait but I’ve been off-work for 7 months since I was told that D-type visas took around 2-3 weeks to be granted.
Can someone please tell me if this is normal bureucratic process or is there something wrong going on?
I sometimes try doing a google search about the news in Belgium to figure out if this situation about foreign workers being put on hold are on the headlines and recieve no satisfactory outcome.
Do you guys know anything?
