Germany’s biggest arms maker will also train Ukrainians to maintain the tanks and other armored vehicles made in the factory, which will be located in the western part of the country, CEO Armin Papperger told CNN in an exclusive interview on Thursday.
I wonder if they are moving from Switzerland to Ukraine.
Only 12 weeks for an armored vehicle plant? That seems quick! Did they start the construction already?
I just can not imagine this to be true… will the location be secret? If yes – how will they keep it secret?
If not – russia will just wait until they are 90% done and then bomb it constantly.
Also I can not imagine that german engeeners want to work at a military target in ukraine right now.
So I dont get it.
> “There are a lot of factories at the moment which are producing military goods
> [in Ukraine]. It is just another one — and we can protect that also,” he said.
I like this attitude.

I guess they grew tired of Poland trying to scam Germany for the Leopards’ maintenance and reparations and went duck it let’s make it in Ukraine itself. Also how much was Poland overcharging that’s cheaper to set up a complete air defense system than pay them
