The current eartquake swarm in Reykjanes reached a new level last night with a 5.2M earthquake late in the evening. The earthquake was clearly felt in Reykjavík (26 km away) and surrounding areas. The area where the earthquakes are taking place is located very close to the 2021 & 2022 volcanic eruption sites. The second map shows the location of the most powerful earthquakes so far.
