What’s the scam here? This page “sells” cars like these with ridiculously good prices.

  1. I messaged them as well for more info and they said I can either order the car to my address or I can come to an address provided to test drive and buy the car from there. Whole thing sounds fishy

  2. If something sounds too good to be true… it is.

Could be a million tricks. Stolen cars, cars not as advertised in the pics, cars with defects, you might get homejacked if they come to your house, you might be intimidated into buying once you meet up, you might get robbed if you show up with cash at their place, take your pic.

  3. Is it a ridiculously good price? What’s the mileage on the car?

  4. Aside from whatever scam might be operating here, these could be being sold for export (so no vat) meaning you would have to pay vat … and perhaps import duty (if they are from outside the EU) to get out registered in Belgium. Then the normal registration charges on top of that. What would be a “fair” price for the car you’re looking at?
