We are in the year 2023, all kinds of information about any kind of country is three clicks away from us, how does this keep happening? 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
She complains about the prejudices Americans have about Spain while she spouts prejudices about Mexico. 🤦

She’s repeating what other people said. She’s not spouting prejudices of her own.
For all you don’t know about this ignorance problem USA citizens have, check 👉 r/shitamericanssay
What was the bad thing about México she say? Do you speak Spanish?
Already published in the Spanish language forum and just as stupid: she just says some American mistook Spain for Latin America, just like any Latin American wouldn’t be happy to be mistaken for a Spaniard.
Have you been to Mexico? Spain and most of Latin America are not on the same levels of development, it is just a fact. It does not mean Mexicans or other Latinos are inferior, but it is simply a fact that many people in Mexico don’t have washing machines and wash their clothing by hand with soap and water. This isn’t me “looking down on Mexico,” I have spent extended time in Mexico and I love the country but this is simply just a fact. Her point is that Americans see Spain as a Spanish speaking country and immediately associate being Spanish speakers with poverty.
Having visited Mexico many times and having lived in Spain and being Spanish myself, there is absolutely a big difference between the development of the two countries. I genuinely love Mexico but that is just a fact.
What does the Spanish do when they ask about other countries people like: Africa, india , and the Middle East ? I’m from India and some people ask me if you have cars there? Wtf!
With the due respect… But Mexico, as a country, has problems incomparable to those of Spain as a rich and fully developed European country.
To give examples:
Spain’s homicide rate is 0.61 homicides per 100k inhabitants, Mexico’s is 22.
GDP per capita PPA in Spain is 46k USD. In Mexico it is 20k.
The corruption, drug trafficking, mafia issues… Are only imaginable in Spain as part of the worse nightmares.
Mexico is a great country. But comparing Mexico to Spain or denying the reality of the problems of Mexico and just call them “prejudices” is totally childish point of view.
On the other hand, other Americans can’t understand why dryers are not popular in Spain. They use their dryer machine even in Summer at 40°C.
I love Mexico and have lived there in fact, but I’m terms of how developed it is, it is not comparable to Spain or the US
