Hi everyone, I’m looking for a service from a engineer or surveyor, to inspect a *residential* property before purchase. There are some small cracks on the house which might indicate subsidence, but I’m not sure. I’m looking for a provider who is a registered professional (such as [OAI](https://www.oai.lu/) or the French / Belgian equivalent).

In the UK, this is a really easy-to-find service which has consistent standards applied by [RICS](https://www.rics.org/profession-standards/home-surveys-licences). Ideally I’d find something like this ‘[subsidence inspection survey’](https://www.allcottassociates.co.uk/residential-services/subsidence-investigation-surveys/) being offered.

I have googled it extensively, including reddit, and only found one provider so far (immopass). Surely they have some competition, and another entrepreneurial engineer is doing this for residential property? It’s a huge business in the UK.
