We want all this money back. Ofwat should all be sacked and the circus that the water industry has become fully investigated.

Failure is not for the rich in the UK. At worst, you resign and get a six-figure golden goodbye, which is just enough to tide you over while you wait for a boardroom position to open up elsewhere. It’s insulting but things like this (or a similar example at the Post Office after the Horizon scandal) show you can ruin peoples lives but still get paid more money than many can dream of having for doing so.
