There’s no way the EU is going to fund private mansions for Erdogan. What a clown.
Because one of those will happen, the other won´t.
Bad move by Erdogan. Now really everybody knows that there is no end to the demands of Erdogan. So there is not really any reason to continue serious discussions and meetings with him. While I understand that our governments need to keep the boat from rocking I do hope that after Ukraine is victorious that those problems will be taken care of. And for those who say that there is no way to get rid of blocking countries: those ways can be easily created by the rest of NATO or EU. Something to really take a close look at for after the war. With the defeat of Russia it is time to overthink our current organisations like NATO and consider a reorganisation and reconstruction of the alliance. I am pretty sure that the majority of members would agree with that. One could even expand into asia, who knows?
We don’t need(or deserve) membership but can we have 30-day Schengen allowance? Pweaaaaaase?
But it kinda is, not because any other EU country has said they’ll support it in anyway but Sweden agreed to actively try to get Turkey into EU. Of course you can “actively” do it but just the minimum
