  1. US President Joe Biden will hold two high-level bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as part of the North Atlantic Alliance summit in Vilnius.

According to the publication, on Tuesday, 11 July, Biden will meet with Erdoğan to convince him to approve Sweden’s accession to NATO. And on Wednesday, 12 July, a meeting of the leaders of the United States and Ukraine is scheduled, although not definitively agreed upon.

  2. Hopefully one gets the carrot and the other one the stick, but whatever it is, it would be fantastic news if the rumors of NATO dropping the MAP prerequisite for Ukraine and Sweden finally joining the alliance would turn official.

  3. I think Ukraine is losing people every day while Biden dawdles on giving real tangible meaningful support to Ukraine. No jets, missiles distance capped, dripping out supplies like they are a child. It’s 500 days!!! And we watch while hitler 2.0 attacks. Support drew me to the Democratic Party, lack of it will cause me to write in an alternate out of disappointment at the slow rate in which Biden moves to arm Ukraine. I’m hopeful Biden will realize he needs to step up or step aside.
