BC, Canada, is my home. Yes there are fires every year, but never like this. And it’s only July 10th, still early in the forest fire season.
I wanted to put it into perspective for r/Europe, because you’re about to get a bunch of our smoke, BC smoke joining the Quebec smoke that’s burning nearly five thousand kilometres away from us.
The red outline is land already burned down this summer.
Thank you to all the firefighters saving as many homes as they can. Thank you to those coming from other countries to try to help us.
