Canadian living in Sweden here and I’m planning a road trip through Norway in August. I live in Östersund so am driving east to Trondheim before making my way south. I looked up some of Norway’s best drives on [https://www.nasjonaleturistveger.no/](https://www.nasjonaleturistveger.no/) and have planned my route to hit as many as I can do practically. I’m an experienced driver with a lot of time in mountainous terrain and have planned most of my days with under 300 kms (under 200 kms on weekdays) of driving so that I can enjoy the surroundings. I also plan to use my van as a mobile office and work during the week so I’m interested to know if the mobile phone coverage maps are realistic and if I can expect to get good connectivity. Coming from Canada I’m always amazed at how good coverage is in Norway and Sweden but I’d like to be sure.
I appreciate any insight in to my route selection, any points of interest along that way including hikes, walks, restaurants or other places to visit. I will be sleeping in my van with my dog for most nights though I will not decline a hotel or BnB. Locations are approximate and will be based on availability of campground, internet or other services.
