Whereas most US states it’s legal and provides people with jobs..also helps stop criminal activity in growing/transporting the weed.
The UK needs to catch up.
It’s de facto legal in 95% of the country already, legalise it & take the money out of criminals hands.
We’re decades behind where we should be with this kind of thing, Canada & parts of the US have had legal cannabis for years & the sky remains not fallen.
Make it legal and all the issues around it go away
Because the plant isn’t the issue. The crime around it is.
That goes away when you make it legal
Huge amounts of tax to be collected from that. A huge industry to be created. Either our current law makers are too old and set in their ways, or there’s money being made somewhere that people in power don’t want disturbed by the influence of an open and free market

Just a quick reminder that the UK is the world’s largest exporter of legitimate cannabis and cannabis is legalised for medical purposes providing you can pay too much for it.
