3 years ago this week we said goodbye to Jack. Two questions: Has there ever been a non Irish person as beloved in Ireland as him? And is there a way we can slow down time? (3 fecking years!)

  1. He is without a doubt the only universally loved English man in Ireland. A hero.

    Give it a lash, Jack!

  2. Jim Larkin? His parents were Irish but he was born in Liverpool

  3. Non-Irish? Arguably. JFK maybe back in the day.

    English? Probably not

  4. Lesser known to then Jack but we’ve claimed Danial day Lewis as one of our own
