“People looking angry in local newspapers” right there
Going on strike is it’s own fine. Cost me £80 a day to make the government see that there’s not going to be any teachers in the future unless something changes
He’s made himself look rather stupid there. But he’ll be a hero in his own little mind, and those close to him will be saying how clever he is which will boost his ego.
Meanwhile, education as a whole is massively underfunded, teachers are constantly losing out on pay (nearly 20% down compared to a decade ago) and their profession is under-appreciated by government and plebs like him.
Oh, and it’s not your child’s teacher that fines you. It’s the local authority – you know, the council, that you vote for, following government procedures set by a government you vote for. Maybe get onto your local councillor and MP rather than moaning about teachers who are trying to do their best for your kids under ridiculous circumstances.
There’s class solidarity for you.
Fucking crab in a bucket mentality.
The bigger problem is the amount of unqualified teachers leading classes on a long term basis.
A classic of the ‘compo face’ genre right there. What a dipshit.
So they went on holiday and paid the fine because it was cheaper in term time…
One wonders whether the penny will ever drop for him…
>The mums of Jai-Jai and Maddox – who were not on the holiday – have also been fined £60 each.
Fuck me you’d be raging if the separated father of your child cost you £60
>”It baffles me”
I’m sure lots of thing baffle this moron, none of this is newsworthy however. I kind of expect right wing nonsense like the Metro to be running this. The fact it also ended up on the BBC news site shows how far the Beeb has fallen.
Can’t wait for the reporters to be addressing what the tosspots in the pub are moaning about next.
This guy is obviously a moron.
It does still seem absolutely farcical to me that you can’t make the responsible choice to take your own child out of school for a week if you want to.
Why fine teachers when it was the Local Authority who fined the man?
