  1. The nocturnal congress of ancient terrestrial & extraterrestrial minerals truly was one of the most spectacular photography highlights of the summer. Comet Neowise fit very well into the mining of the area around Leipzig where I grew up admiring and wondering about the weirdly giant mining excavators everywhere.

I observed that scene in attendance of a cute young fox who was interessted in the snacks I was feasting while I shot 25 single frames with a 135mm lens to get this Panorama.

Furthermore this Panorama is part of my recent Photography Series:Starlit Deeps of Moonless Nights – 5 Years of Milky Way Photography

Once discovered during extended summer nights, the nocturnal excitement as a hidden world behind the boundaries of the ordinary became the main theme of my photographic journey. This round-up collection marks the 5 Years milestone of that weird trip into the dark including my best-loved Meteor Shower Images, Comet Neowise, Star Trail sessions and the Super Blood Moon Eclipse between Leipzig and La Palma
