I feel a sense of rich looking at that. Keep them.
Can you even exchange them now?
I’d keep them.
Remember one of these used to buy you stuff. Like a lot of stuff.
Are you actually still able to exchange them?
Elon Musk is the richest man on the planet but he’s never been handed a card with 3 of these beauts on his confirmation.
When money was worth something now feels like Monopoly money
Your exchange be the same as 1.27€ at the time, no? That good condition will be worth more to collectors down the line. Keep them in good nick and sell them then.
Keep em all they’ll be lovely things to show the grandchildren!
That’s a lotta penny sweets.
They’re in rag order, have to be like new to be worth anything I believe. Also loads of them about.
If you wanna exchange them, I’ll give you €100 for them cash
Exchange
Id hold onto them, it’s shame Ireland ever got rid of them for the euro
How could you get rid of that face
Its a pain that even 20 years later the exchange rate is still £1=€1.27. The punt feels more valuable than that given what you could buy with it in 2000.
I’d keep them, unless you were stuck of course 👍
Keep one at least.
Keep them. Surely you aren’t that stuck for €70! Frame them.
Might be worth selling them rather than exchanging them. Collectors might pay more than you’d get in exchange.
Keep them and try to find a on fiver note and 2 X 2 pound coins and frame that bad boy
Keep one!
At least keep one and get it framed
Go into the central bank and they’ll give you the equivalent of what they’d be worth today. They weren’t minted so unless they have sentimental value I doubt they’d be worth too much resale at an auction but I could be wrong
sell them on eBay, they seem to be worth 40-50 euros each to collectors
They’re more valuable as collectors items that to exchange them. Check ebay, you’ll likely get €30 a note, more if they’re in great condition/ specific rare years/sequential serial numbers etc
Keep
There is a lot to be said for our Daniel
I bought some last year, not cheap. Keep them in good condition and hold for ages I suggest.
Exchange two. Frame the one that’s in the best shape.

Exchange those suckers.
Still freaks me out how much that looks like Bertie Ahern instead of Daniel O’Connell. https://www.google.com/search?q=Daniel+O%27Connell&rlz=1C9BKJA_enIE853IE854&hl=en-GB&prmd=invx&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjU67P9xvr0AhVinVwKHSktC-sQ_AUoAXoECAIQAQ&biw=1024&bih=653&dpr=2#imgrc=Q0En3yL_3qOZwM
