I’m very sceptical at this point about any security “packages”, “assurances” and so on. NATO already has proven to be weak, indecisive and selfish. Whatever is proposed now – I doubt it will last past any elections.
And I very much doubt Ukraine will be better off with this, compared to a future NATO membership.

Does this commitment hold if Trump gets elected as well? Seems to me this would be one of his “on day one I will revert….” actions.
