Have to start with teaching pay. It’s shit and doesn’t attract/retain enough talent.
He’s going to do that somehow whilst being very fiscally responsible. Not sure how that’s going to work.
I think the number of classroom and study hours might be a problem. Don’t fee-paying schools, especially boarding schools, require study in the evening, among other times?
But this doesn’t mean anything. I’ve met plenty of people who went to private school who were stupid as fuck. Private schools just aim for high grades, the educational attainment is arbitrary. What kieth should be aiming for is high quality teaching and massive, progressive education reforms.
Strange how they always call him Sir (which he earned by becoming a QC) but it’s not Sir Ed Davey (for services to selling of the Royal Mail and enabling the most right wing govt in decades)
