What defines “Celtic”? I’m pretty certain Wales is more culturally similar to England than say Northern Portugal.

France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and parts of Switzerland, Germany, and Northern Italy were Celts
Map of places the romans struggled to control
I am Spaniard and I must say that north westerners pretending to be Celtic is like one of the biggest larping ever. Nowadays they don´t have any more Celtic characteristics than any other region historically populated by them, from France to the Po and Danubian valleys.
And no, having some Celtic names for some towns is not enough, if that was the case even the Turkish region of Galatia would also be considered Celtic. And neither having certain musical instruments played back then by the Celtics, as many other cultures not considered Celtic also have these in their folklore.
Lighter cousin of Finland!
In what sense are these regions more Celtic than all the other European regions that were also inhabited by the Celts?
