High Mileage Club 1: Niall Collins won’t address mileage claim that doesn’t reflect official diary – and suggests he drove twice as much as a taxi driver while Dáil in recess

  1. 200 km or so to Limerick isn’t it? If he was up and down every second day, that’d explain it. Would need to be clear if he’s entitled to do that as a minister.

More prosaically, he could be driven up to Dublin every day and get his 200 km in that way. Would get him up to his 6000 km.

All a bit silly without more information.

  2. Lol I wonder if we’ll ever find out what Niall Collins did to Paddy.

  3. I’m definitely here for petty scrutinising of milage claims of TDs. They seem to have it in for Collins, might get a few more honest milage claims if this gets any traction.

  4. I’m not exaggerating when I’m saying shit like this makes it easier for fascists to recruit. There’s no mechanism to catch the cunts who are absolutely raping the country and squeezing us for every penny. Which drives people to extreme ideologies that say they will drain the swamp.
