  1. Good. It’s a rip off and should be abolished. People finally seeing sense and just ignoring all their scare tactics

  2. I don’t have one. Have been receiving monthly letters for the last year and a half warning of an “imminent visit” but I was unemployed and then worked from home for much of that time and they still haven’t showed up

I wish they would so I can tell them to fuck off and get a proper job

Their entire business model is just sending harassing and threatening letters to vulnerable old people to shake them down for money. Its worse than Nigerian prince email scams because at least they don’t threaten you with action from the state if you don’t pay them

I don’t want to fund shit programming made by tax avoiding nonces thank you very much

  3. Superb news. Their scare tactics are laughable. Maybe people are realising they have scarce resource to try and enforce anything (constant loop of letters suggesting they’ll come visit – never do).

  4. Good! I haven’t had a tv licence for about 5 years now. Not even noticed.

  5. TV licence, green tax, ULEZ its all a rip-off. UK needs strong politicians to straighten the way Westminster works.

  6. I very much enjoy their visits. Gives me an opportunity to remind them that this organisation harboured a bunch of nonces…and I’ll be damned if I’m paying anything to this utterly corrupt organisation.

  7. I’ve had so many letters over the last 10 years saying that one of their inspectors has been scheduled to visit but they never do lol.

  8. It’s not licence fee evasion, it’s licence fee avoidance
