[Skare] Found this long wire running through the forest, anyone knows what it is?

I found a log maybe a 50cm long bolted to a rock. The log had some rusty wire left spooled around it and connected to that wire was this wire, i followed it in hope of finding the end or something interesting. The wire ran through the treetops and it seemed like it had been put there by a helicopter maybe? Had to give up after maybe 1km because of the cliff seen in the picture.
