Hello again, Reddit! Our [Project New Page by B50](https://b50.com.ua/en/activities-en/growing-en/newpage-project-en/) has almost completed the fundraiser for sets of 50 books for 5 children’s libraries located in the frontline and de-occupied areas. This Project aims to provide schools and children’s libraries affected by the invasion with sets of new Ukrainian-language books focused on children’s self-development—self-discovery, mental health, critical thinking, and interesting skills.
We have already provided the first library in the village of Bohdanivka in the Kyiv region, where we also decorated a children’s bomb shelter with such a set. russians burned down the school there and destroyed the library.
Now these schools will receive sets of books:
– a school in the village of Kholmy in Chernihiv region, which the russians bypassed and circled as they marched on Kyiv;
– a school in the village of Boromlia in Sumy region, which was under occupation, and a bomb fell in the center of the village, and the russians looted the school and stole a school bus;
– a school in the village of Krasnokutsk in the Kharkiv region, which hosts internally displaced persons and has a mostly russian-language library;
– a school in the city of Myrnohrad, which is now 30 kilometers from the front line and has been shelled repeatedly.
We have already raised funds to purchase books for these 4 schools, and **one of them will receive these books thanks to you, the wonderful people at Reddit!**
Soon we will be able to show how these books will be delivered to these schools 🙂
At this stage, we have to raise funds for 1 more school: the village of Kyselivka in the Mykolaiv region. This small village was under occupation. Now it has been destroyed by 70%, but the villagers are returning, as are the children. Their school, which had about 100 children, and the library were heavily damaged. russians who lived in the school cooked their meals by burning books and stole everything they could, even a boiler and linoleum. Even under occupation, teachers continued to secretly teach children! No more than 20% of the books are left.
Help us raise funds for this library! You can help us with PayPal (search for b50@b50.com.ua), [Buy Me A Coffee](https://www.buymeacoffee.com/B50community), and direct transfers to [bank accounts](https://b50.com.ua/en/donate-en/).
After providing assistance to these 5 schools, we have the ambition to provide such sets to 50 schools. We already have more than 300 applications!
**Thank you all for your help!**
Books are nice, they didnt need electrical power to work with.
As Ukraina is widely digitised, wouldnt it be better to provide e-book readers?

btw.: Слава Україні!
