The EPP (largest party in EUP) instructed all its members to reject the law outright. The 5 FG members of that party went against party lines and all Irish MEPs voted in favour. The 5 FG members to break the party line represents the most of any country with MEPs in that party.
Good to see it. Apparently the law was “gutted” but sure it’s better than it getting rejected.
