It’s not a myth. It’s a ruse by Russia because they know EU and US politicians have issues with cowardice. It has been a HIGHLY effective ruse and delayed all sorts of Military Assistance.

“We don’t want to escalate things” (translation :”it is our responsibility to find the right attitude to not anger Russia”).
“We can’t do/say that or it will give excuses to Russia” (“We are the ones responsible for not making Russia abuse us”).
Russia doesn’t have to threaten us to scare those people, they are doing Russia’s work themselves. I wish more people/media would think about what they mindlessly say/write and realised they have been conditionned by Russia.
RUSSIA needs to worry about NATO escalation.
Why should the West be the only ones nervous about “escalation”?
No shit, Putin didn’t mind funding Wagner to attack US soldiers in Syria so he has no foot to stand on when it come to the west supplying Ukraine with the means to defend themselves. He’s just an angry man child spitting out his dummy.
He’s right. NATO could (and should) send troops and Russia wouldn’t do shit.
Completely agree with him there are a bunch of cowards in leadership for the west. We need someone like JFK that wasn’t afraid to stand up to the whole Soviet Union. I can’t stand how all these cowards are so afraid of angering a country that has already been proven to have a 3rd rate army. As far as nukes we have more than enough to annihilate Russia and I would rather be dead than live in a world where Russia can do whatever they want when they pull out the nuke card.
If NATO had balls what they should do is let Ukraine in to NATO and tell Russia that have till a certain date to leave the country. If they don’t leave Ukraine’s territory we will remove them with the full force of NATO.
I don’t trust anyone that think they know when they can’t be sure 100%. That’s the problem, we all know the chance are extremely low. But is this the kind of issue you can gamble on? However, ruzzia will not act for the help Ukraine gets. It’s in case NATO goes in that I hardly see what the outcome would be.
Especially all these former generals. They are irrelevant now.
