As the title suggests, I’m having slight noise issues with upstairs – enough to make me want to do something about it. I own the apartment I’m in.
It seems it is not really their fault as the sounds are just travelling through the structure of the apartment. I did some research and the consensus sounds like a resilient channel where the roof is decoupled with a metal frame like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEs3jlNOzwY
Which companies in Helsinki might be able to help me with this? Something to consider is that unfortunately my Finnish is not yet at a level where I can negotiate these kinds of things.
Also if anyone else has experienced with this I’d appreciate your perspective.
