He really is a horrible individual. He knows this will be devise. Getting people upset at those refusing housing for various reasons. The biggest issue with housing is the government’s failure to act accordingly.
He’s correct to say that people refuse social housing. Happens all the time.
However, does it happen to the extent that it makes a major impact on homelessness? No. Not even close. And this is the nub of it. Much like the “welfare cheats cheat us all” campaign, he’s being deliberately misleading
I think he corrected the word “plenty” to “some” yesterday in the Dáil.
But the smugness of the statement is still pretty dreadful.
Trying to get people to hate/stop caring about the plebs again Leo. His playbook is getting very fucking representative at this stage.
