  1. It’s what the company who produced this bus most thought looked like “I need service”. Equivalent of the service button on planes, except they have staff to actually come help you, the bus driver is only going to respond to that when stopped.

  2. It’s a relic from the past, indicating that you want service. Been a few years since last I saw a usher on the bus

  3. Service button. They sometimes imagine these buses will be used with a second person to provide service during long trips. It’s the same thing as the ones you have on planes, causes a little blip and a light to come on in the driver area.
