Today, State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Planning (DIAM) issued a permit to replace the coat of arms of the USSR on the shield of the Motherland Monument with the Ukrainian trident

1. I approve, but I would wait til after the war. I know the Russians will try to hit it with missiles immediately if Ukraine already does this.

2. I don’t know man, seems like we are missing a golden opportunity to replace that shield with the hanging head of Putin.

3. I would keep the sheaves of wheat. That reinforces the significance of Ukraine being the world’s breadbasket and reduce the size of the trident to achieve the proportions of scale.

5. Weird how it seems that the shield was always meant for the tryzub. The proportions were at odd with a round emblem.
