Making all of us dog owners look bad again because they cant control their dog.. I can already see them standing there shouting at the dog “please stop Milo”, silly bunch if you know you cant control your dog dont let it go.

Ah yes, people who don’t want to leash their dog, the most annoying narcissists in the world.
Also it’s so reassuring that the only thing that keeps your dog from mauling anything it’s sees, is you holding it back instead of of educating it…. ( This is not aimed at all dog owners, just the ones that are and should not be )
Instead of always telling people dogs should be on a leash maybe they should start giving fines instead for people who don’t…
It is written by people that don’t like dogs on the beach. Knowing that the bite of its own sort is very similar to a dog you could not tell if it is attacked by a dog or by its own kind and the last one is a lot more probable…
On the beach you can always see very far and if it would occur that a dog attacked a seapup there would several movies. I call this fake news.

I don’t hate dogs in particular but I hate their owners.
From not picking their dog’s shit from the pavement to their dog attacking people or other animals.
I have a very nice park with a nature reserve adjacent.
The nature reserve is where we have the most problems. I sometimes see dogs taller than small children running towards them. Then the owner yells that is friendly, how the heck is anybody have to trust the word of someone he doesn’t know.
Also the number of times, I see a twig of a lady or some kid walking an Am Staffs or a Rott. Little anecdote, a few years back a young lady was walking her dog down some busy street. The dog was the size of a young horse.
I don’t know what startled the dog but he sprinted. The woman flew in a perfect parallel to the sidewalk. The dog swept her clean of her feet. She was Supergirl’d for a fraction in time. The dog dragged for a few meters until he was stopped by a passerby. The woman complained about her wrist and shoulder.
And the most petty annoying thing ever.People who let their dogs shit a few cm away from the public canisite or worse that pick up and throw the bag just outside the box .
I have some many horror stories with dogs from my close circle of friends and family (some dog owners) that I don’t understand the appeal.
Little bonus, I have this buddy who is a big nature guy. Pretty nice but if get him started on environmental issues he gets really preachy. I started his rent when the bf of a friend noted that my buddy had a dog. Dog are very polluting and not a necessity ( don’t eat them nor have any particular function if you aren’t a shepherd or a security agent). This one remark shut my buddy up like an oyster. He was pissed at the bf. That we never thought of bringing his dog up. When he breaks our balls about meat consumption. He loves hiking and I am pretty sure he lets his dog shit in nature.
