I guess this is the difference between the estimated tax amount and the amount already been paid.

Surprised they don’t have a system to just write those off. They’ve already spent more trying to get that 1 cent.
Invoice them for your time and the cost of invoicing them for invoicing you. Make sure to include the ref no!

Fun fact. I’ve been getting a bill from ups for 50 euro once a month for 4 years.
Contacted them asking what it was for and they sent me a customs clearance form. A customs clearance form that was completely blank.
So now I use them to bulk up the compost.
Better than getting one for €82 that they “audited” themselves! Overstated the dimensions of my package, even though every one I’ve ever sent is the same size 🤦🏻
Waiting 3 weeks to be reimbursed. No response.

I got a credit from them for .32 cent yesterday. Apparently they had an audit.
Tape a cent to the letter, send it back and include an invoice for the stamp.

Invoices are now very very important and Everyone is an expert on them. If UPS hadn’t sent you this, that would be a criminal conspiracy!
No wonder their prices are high, to cover this sort of thing.
