Outdated APC’s that “haven’t left the warehouse for 40 years and may not be operational” in exchange for American “replacement vehicles”? Sounds like someone is trying to get a bargain here…
Why should Bulgaria receive brand new armoured vehicles in exchange for giving old ones to Ukraine. Bulgaria are not in a life or death war with Russia. Surely it would make more sense to send the new vehicles directly to Ukraine?
In fact it doesn’t make sense for any NATO country to receive new equipment to replace old equipment transferred to Ukraine.
Ukraine has proven that it needs the best there is, and they can use it cautiously.
Those are in great condition.
