Don’t make it an ‘Independent watchdog’ and all that ‘we watch each other’ bullshit.
Make it a criminal offence punishable by prison time.
If politics is super important and needs special consideration because these people control our lives (rather than being a cushy gig for a posh bloke in the right colour tie) then they should be held fully to account by the law – not by their colleagues who wear the same old school tie.
