What’s interesting to me is it visually looks like a classic potato salad in Estonia (and probably many other European countries), because the cheese cubes could be mistaken for potatoes.
Excuse me but that’s not a “Wurst-Käse-Salat”, it’s a “Fleischsalat”!
Ah, Wurst-Chäs Salat, the perfect comfort food for a spring picknick or hot summers. I must say tough, I never ever would cube my cervelats. I always slice them into half-circles.
Edit: I’m also not a big fan of Emmentaler (does not really taste of much except a faint nutty flavour), I much prefer Appenzeller for that.
