I’m in my 40s and still don’t like throwing Egg boxes (and empty loo rolls) out in case I have an emergency craft to do and it requires one.

6. It’s when you catch yourself buying pipe-cleaners, but don’t know what they’re really for, then you know you have a problem

9. Great for planting. When the seedlings are big enough for planting out, just tear their section off and plant it in, cardboard and all.

10. Collect enough egg crates and you can make your own sound studio wall covering.
