1, what has a tank that size?
2. Why not use a fuel card? I get 4c off a litre
If you are with three, you can sign up via 3+ and get 3c off a litre
What car takes 86+ litres?, mine only has a 37 litre tank
Did you fill up an actual army tank or what?

Ouch. My car is costing 85 to fill with diesel. That hurts.
I usually just lurk y’all’s sub (American) but this hurt me. I had to convert this to *freedom units* (yes, insert joke) and dear god this stung. It’s the same size tank as my car but 3x the cost. Nothing to brag about, but a long winded way of saying I feel for you, brethren 😭
I’m assuming you’re in some sort of large SUV. Range Rover or something. Which begs the question, owning something that big that runs on petrol is only asking for trouble, right?!
Why fill up? Only lugging around more weight
It was between 1.69 and 1.72 near where I am when I filled up earlier this week. Got a petrol SUV a few months after the pandemic started and barely driven it. I guess being petrol is a good thing in that scenario vs having a diesel sitting around doing low milage. If it makes u feel any better my nephew is home from the Netherlands for Xmas and it’s over 2 euro per litre there at the moment.
I like the G wagon … I’ll beep you when I see you.
Surprised people are getting so wound up at the tank size. I’ve a fairly generic Megane and it’s got a 60l tank. I’d have assumed that size would be fairly standard? and anything jeep-ish would be bigger?
